I’ve always been attracted to people who like to do things a little differently. The Rebels. The Artists. The Advocates. So when a bride calls me and says – “Our wish is to have something low-key at this funky little hotel that’s close to our house…. and I’m going to wear GOLD!!!” I’m like, get over here right now so I can kiss you! Jessica certainly was a vision of PERFECTION in her vintage gold gown. And her groom, Andrew,  was equally as handsome in his stylish wingtips and generous pops of color! Here is just a little SNEAK from last weekend’s wedding at the Culver Hotel.

When Stacey and Andrew first reached out to me about Wedding Photography it was from Hong Kong….they had the chance to live and work out there for a few years and they snatched up the opportunity immediately! Of course I knew that I already loved them, based on this one fact alone. I’m so envious of anyone who gets the chance to pack it all up and go experience another culture….and then actually DOES IT! But lucky for me, they came back…and now they’re living their dream in the City by the Bay. Also, not a bad gig. (: Their playful nature and mutual love is what makes their pictures fun to look at. This little shoot happened right on the street where they live in San Francisco.

The Ritz Carlton in Scottsdale is just a stone’s throw from the home I grew up in. Arizona, with it’s hotter than hot climate, is still a place that I LOVE to be! So any time I get a chance to photograph a wedding there, it puts a giant smile on my face! Basima and Asif’s wedding was simply gorgeous – the Pakistani women have incredible style!
